QCDocs Systems backs up all your documents offsite on a secure server. Data security and the protection of your company’s information are our highest priorities.
QCDocs Systems uses multiple levels of security to ensure that everything done within the site is secure, authorized and auditable.
All Windows and Internet communications are encrypted and fully secured using industry-standard methods.
Web Portal
Users access the Web Portal (and the database server behind it) using the same Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption as your bank’s Internet banking website. Our security certificated is provided by thawte, an industry-leading provider of security certificates.

Desktop Application
The Desktop Application communicates with the database server using 56-bit DES encryption, which makes electronic eavesdropping nearly impossible.
Server Security
QCDocs’ servers are hosted in peer1’s secure data center. This hosting facility ensure that only authorized individuals have physical access to our servers.
Our servers are protected from electronic attack using a multi-level security system.
All data is backed up to a remote facility on a nightly basis. The backup process is monitored to ensure its success.
Application Access and Audit
As part of your accounting infrastructure, security of information and access rights and audit are very important aspects of QCDocs Systems.
QCDocs Systems does not expose any files or data to the file system. All transactions, metadata as well as documents themselves are stored inside the protected database and can only be accessed from within QCDocs.
All functions and documents with QCDocs Systems are secured and only accessible by those with the correct access rights. These rights are designated by your company’s QCDocs Administrator.
Login to QCDocs Systems is password protected. There is a minimum length to all passwords and they can be configured to automatically expire. Users can also be restricted by IP Address or hours of the day.
In addition, the QCDocs Systems solution has a comprehensive system of user activity monitoring and logging of historical activity. Our session tracking logs all activity and changes to any documents in the system. Full history for any document is available at any time to minimize the risk of fraudulent activities.
